Based in Alameda, CA, Capri Catering serves the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area with unique and customized experiences. We are dedicated to making your food experience truly unique and memorable. Everything from the menu, to the service, is tailor made just for your special event.
California has a unique cultures, distinct ingredients, and diverse traditions, we want to celebrate this in your food dining experience. We do our very best to incorporate these traditions and diversity in your menu. We use locally sourced, organic, sustainable ingredients, whenever possible.
Our highly trained service and culinary teams are experienced in fine dining catering. They are committed to making your event an unforgettable and fun event. We cater to all events: Weddings, Corporate Events, Special Events, Cocktail Parties, Small to Large Scale Parties.

Matt Capistrano
Chef/Owner
Matt is a Bay Area native with a love for food, cooking, and all things nerdy. Dissatisfied with his daily routine, Matt left his retail sales career of 10 years to follow his passion. He then pursued an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts in San Francisco, California where he graduated with Honors.
Classically trained, his years of experience includes: Working for various Bay Area celebrity chefs, restaurants, and upscale caterers. He has participated in high profile events for Politicians, Presidential Candidates, Local Fundraisers, various Silicon Valley company events, and destination weddings, just to name a few.
If he isn't cooking, working, or spending time with his family, you will find him at the movies watching the latest Marvel Studios movie or relaxing at home watching reruns of Star Trek.
His catering business started with a church luncheon for 30 people for just under 400 dollars
